They should have never optioned his contract in the first place. But they are cheap and didn't want to pay anybody a lot.

Their not going to get rid of Moss. If they do, they are out of the playoffs. Its that simple.

Daunte's numbers are that big, and a large part of it is thanks to Moss. I don't think the Vikings are going to make the play-offs next year if they get rid of Moss.

You're telling me that if the Vikings trade away Moss for Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and a first round draft pick there is no way they would make the playoffs?

I know, that trade would never happen, but I'm trying to point out that yes, Moss is replacable. Do I want to see him go? No way. Our offense is set to win now. We need to spend the FA money to make the defense capable, too.
