MVP?

Postby awwchrist » Sun Feb 06, 2005 10:20 pm

Brady had a nice line...but his TDs came on the cheap (come on 4 and 2 yards?)

Gotta give it to Branch. Gave them the field position that they couldn't get from anyone else, and 11 receptions to keep the sticks moving.

I'm sure it won't go that way though. Simply not marketable enough.

I just gave my gameball to Branche so I'd say he deserves MVP as well.

I said in my other thread (which I'm sure will get no love :-)) that Harrison should win. He had 2 picks, recovered a fumblar and clinched the game for the Patriots. Brady really wasn't super, so I wouldn't give it to him.

After Harrison I'd go Branch.

I predicted Harrison would get MVP (this afternoon), and I believe he deserves it. But Branch also had a pretty impressive game, as did Brady (no love?)

I think it should be Branch, but I'm pretty sure it will go to Brady. His passer rating was around 100.

Pssh, forget giving it to a Patriot. Would Deion Branch get 110 yards on a broken leg? No, he'd be sulking on the bench. He won't win, but TO had serious balls to go out there and play, and ends up tearing up the secondary. Come on, giving up 100 yards to some cripple? He should have gotten it.

T.O. deserves a lot of credit but that wasn't exactly NE's top secondary out there tonight.
