Weiss and Crennell have both been with Bellichick for over 15 years each now,18 years for Crennell and 15 for Weiss(I think). All 3 are great coaches at their craft. The chances that 2 guys will come in and duplicate what has taken these 3 guys all those years to develop into is just not possible no matter if they come from within the team or not.

They are going to have a new offense and defense and it will take the Patriots players some time to learn the new offensive and defensive schemes. Next season will be a true test for Bellichick and it will be a measuring stick to see how great of a coach he is without Weiss and Crennell. The Patriots will have a difficult time making the playoffs in 2005 with a slow start hindering their chances.

Jets win the division with the Pats an outside chance at a wildcard.

And while we're dreaming, I am dreaming of a land where the Pats tank next year without competent coordinators.

why do you need to dream for the Patriots to suck? Your Cowboys will have trouble keeping out of the basement of the NFC East.

Theres no way a new defensive system will be put in. This is Bill's D not Crennels and it will stay the same. Players on D will not be forced to learn anything "new" except that weeks plan.

Now there may be a new offensive system put in, and if there is I'm sure these guys can handle it and make it work quickly.

IMO: Patriots win the Division again and are #1 or #2 seed going into the playoffs.

Even if he goes outside the Pats for new co-ordinators, who wouldn't wanna work for Belichik. The only downside is they say Kraft doesn't pay his ass't coaches very well which could present a problem if that's true.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for the team to adjust to two new cords. And even though Belichrist is there, you're still talking about two new people who will be preparing the team a little differently. They will still be in the mix for sure, but it might not come as easy.

Should be fun to see how Romeo fares with Garthia, Green, etal. Do the Brownies clean house for him? Only about an eternity before we find out.

I have to ask, do you bother to read what you write? I'm not any kind of spelling champ but damn man. All your posts look the same, take a min to proof read.

So do you and jelious cowboy fan really think Crennel is their big concern? When Bill is the true mastermind behind the D. He will be concerned with gettting an offensive cord well before replaceing Crennel.

Players + coaches make this TEAM work, hasn't anyone learned that this is Bill's system and he makes it work with whoever he has. Yes his cords were important to a point but he will replace them and this team will make a run for 3 IN A ROW.

I was just saying that he is a great part to the team, and it may be harder w/o him. I'm actually a very good speller, but I type fast, and it's very hard to type effictevly on my new laptop.[/quote

First the Shock, then the Pistons can the Lions be next?

Well maybe next yr.

PS I didn't lose a paper bag challenge but somehow as a Lion's fan it just feels right.
