Personally, I wouldn't mind if they held the Super Bowl in Green Bay, Buffalo or Foxboro every once in a while, but that's probably just me. :-)

Nothing wrong with having it in Detroit.

I just want to see a snow Super Bowl in my lifetime. That's all I ask. Even a torrential downpour Bowl. *sigh* Ford Field looks sweet and I bet Detroit will handle it well since they've had prior experience. I'd go for sure.

the problem with that is that the super bowl is almost always played in the warm weather, for the comfort of the teams and the fans. I too wasnt to see a superbowl in the snow, but I never think it will happen unless it snows in california or florida, which is very slim.

The reason for me asking this is i have already been hearing the rumblings....why in Detroit? Theres nothing to do there.....its cold.....i better bring a gun with me.....things of that nature. Detroit really isnt as bad as the media portrays it to be. We have a couple of casinos, a Hard Rock, some real nice hotels, Greektown, plus Ford Field is amazing great place to watch a game.

I was at a game this season that just passed at Ford Field and it is a beautiful stadium. It will be a great venue for the Superbowl.

The only real problem I can see is the location of the Ford Field traffic is super crap on game day I can only imagine what it is going to be like on Super Sunday.

The traffic has alot to do with all the road work going on downtown to improve the streets for the superbowl.
