This was brought up th e other night on NFL live....intereesting point....Alexander would add the power running back that Philly didn't have this year......and it would add more variety to formations......do you think that this could ever happen or would it be unwise for Philly.....they have the cap space....
wow....have yet to hear this one yet. that would leave like 3 or 4 teams that alexander might not go to next season i dont think it will happen personally...alexander wants to be the guy where ever he goes, he wont want to share the spotlight with westbrook..plus i dont really consider him a power running back. but thats just IMO.
It's interesting, but unlikely. Alexander doesn't come across to me as the type of guy who would be happy sharing time with another back. Not to mention, Philly needs to spend money on more concerning issues. Westbrook has performed quite well over the last two seasons and don't see much reason to shake things up by adding a contract as expensive as Alexander's to the mix. Don't get me wrong, it would be an explosive combo, but I can't see it happening.

Ding.

Only 3 leagues this year. No sense in rooting for everyone in the NFL.
This will never happen, although I do consider Alexander somewhat of a power running back. He will get better offers at other places, I just don't see him going to Philly...they're better off going for a running back in the draft.
I know it's been said before....but....the Philly thing was a new variable and I wanted other;s opinions before I discussed it myself....I think it is an interesting endeavor
This would be very interesting..I would be very surprised to see it happen. I think they would go after a different back, and also one that would come with a less expensive price tag.
A-train perhaps??? Just interesting, but fits the mold.

Now, A-train going to Philly...I can see that one happening. Thomas fits the mold of a power back and a competent one at that. He's already used to sharing the load, so it wouldn't be a stretch. However, Buckhalter's status will be looming large. If the A-train comes cheap for a season, while Buckhalter fully repairs his knee, I can see this working out.

A-Train is a forgotten man in all these FA RB discussions we have here and that are on other sites/tv shows.
He would do very well in a RBBC situation and is a capable starting RB in my opinion. If he finds the right home, he could do well, and he will come cheap
