i dont even want to think about that piece of garbage on the ravens. ill take boller over him any day.(and that says a lot considering im not too high on him)
j2thez..no wonder you were lookin to change that sig
You hit the nail on the head
By the way, I feel that Cleveland needs to fix their o-line first or Rodgers/Smith will get demolished
The sucky part about it is that SF really can't pawn off their #1 pick on them for a QB. The Browns could easily take one of the two big-name QB's that is left (probably Smith), plus no other player that the Niners need would be worth taking at #3...unless some sort of three-way deal could be worked out between the teams. Does any team have two picks in the first round that needs a QB (probably not - I keep thinking SD, and they sure as heck don't need any more)?

As for the Browns, I'm betting they'll just let a quarterback controversy unfold between McCown, Harris, and Holcomb.
Jeff Garcia is not a bad QB, and with some decent receivers I think he could be quite effective again. If he were to go to the Cardinals or the Dolphins, say, I think he could be better than any thing they have presently.
what about the qb in cleveland who threw for like 5 tds vs the bengals in the high scoring game of the year?? They ought to give him a shot, I mean luke McCown was the guy with the reins when the Browns gained like 6 yds total offense. If you can't get more than 6 yards even on your worst game ever you shouldn't be a starter. Well.. maybe I was a little harsh.

I think that Cleveland could fix their O-line easier through free agency and draft the franchise QB. The Pats, Eagles, Colts, Packers, and many other teams with solid O-lines have starters hitting FA. They won't be able resign them all. Some notable names could be out their:
Mayberry, Rivera, Demulling, Peko, Neal, Andruzzi, Tra Thomas, Walter Jones, Pace, and Diem. That's a lot of people potentially heading into free agency, and that's not looking at all the potential starting worthy candidates to upgrade their O-line.
