seems slightly dumb to me. he isn't worthy of the type of pay a franchise tag mandates -- and other teams aren't going to want to trade for a running back. In the real world, rb is becoming somewhat devalued anyway. Add in a fair amount of good free agent backs, others who would be cheaper to acquire via trade, and a good draft for backs -- it makes no sense.
They may have their reasons, but the bengals have certainly miscalculated in the past. They need to prove me wrong before I am going to label anything they do as "savvy"
