Bruschi Hospitalized

Postby Keyser_WV » Thu Feb 17, 2005 11:24 am

CBS Sportsline:

Patriots' linebacker Tedy Bruschi was admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital on Wednesday after suffering stroke-like symptoms, partial paralysis, and blurred vision. The Boston Herald reports that Bruschi lost partial vision in one of his eyes, but has started to regain it. A Patriots' official told the Herald that Bruschi is "walking and talking." The 31 year-old linebacker will undergo further tests on Thursday.

Yikes...I had something along the lines of slipping a disc in his back from carrying all that hardware over the last 4 years...but this is very serious.

I hope this turns out to be nothing too serious. It would be shame if Bruschi weren't causing chaos next year in the NFL

How serious is that. Hopefully he will be okay, one of the most respected guys in the NFL. Great commercial he is in for the United Way.

Damn, this is scary...it could've been a minor stroke. I hope he makes a full recovery, with all of the great exploits he does both on and off the field he does not deserve this at all.

Poor guy. I feel for him as he is one of the class acts of the NFL. Hopefully it's not lifethreatening.

I like this guy, and that is saying A LOT for me, a devout anti-pats fan. Hopefully he recovers with good health.
