Instead of adding to the Jackson thread, I'm starting a new one. Thoughts on Faulk possibly leaving ala Emmitt to start elsewhere? Worst market possible for him with so many RBs available but who knows.

I think Faulk has accepted the role he is falling into, and actually embracing it.He can keep playing and getting paid for years if he let's someone else shoulder the load, whereas his next game might be his last if he goes on like he has in the past.I know I'll hear"every play can be any player's last",but in his case with the repeated knee injuries, and the visible decline in his skills,it's never been more true.

Don't forget to handcuff Faulk to Jackson. (Did I just say that?)
St. Louis turf is not forgiving, I think any RB would have a hard time playing 16 games in that stadium.

Oh yeah, Faulk makes a pretty decent third down RB. Remember the days when Faulk was a TD machine? This guy has a nose for the endzone, third and one, third and 4, catches the ball like a WR, etc. etc... Great 3rd down back even with one good knee. Faulk could be the Jerome Bettis of 2005 if Jackson gets injured....

I agree Marshall as a 3rd down back would be awsome even with one leg
