That is the sophomore (believe it or not) video for Noel Devine, a 5-8, 165-pound running back who plays at North Ft. Myers High in Florida. He will be a junior next season. As a freshman, he rushed for 1,092 yards on varsity. As a sophomore, he rushed for 1,668 yards and 23 TDs with 11 yards per carry. In early recruiting, he says he's getting a lot of attention from Miami, Georgia, Michigan, Pittsburgh and Rutgers. He's a little small, though he can still grow. But he says he can bench press 330.
The kid will need some size to make it in college or the NFL, but he looks strong. Or are the defenses just that pathetic?
Its probably a combo of bad defenses, ability and a good offensive line. Needs size, but hes still years away from the NFL.

he has some nice moves for sure...but no way he gets out of 80% of those tackles playing against a D with talent. those D's were pathetic. really its hard for me to judge a player in those conditions. he has potential.

I was on a business trip and missed it. Sorry, CC, I'll hang my head in shame now.
LOL, its all good. I have a mini-obssession with this kid, he has serious game. He plays in the toughest division of football in all of Florida for those wondering about his competition.
You can't expect a bunch of HS school kids to tackle like Ray Lewis.

Not to mention all things are relative in that his competion will improve in college but he'll be better too (or should be). Interesting...

A few of those plays were too sweet for words. Reminded me of Dickerson (not running-style wise) by running into a gang and finding his way out for a long TD. And he seems to get faster the longer he's running.
