I have to agree that some roster expansion is in order. I don't know by how many, but the idea of a dynasty league is to draft the rookies and hold on to them for a couple of years until they develop. Right now, if a team suffers a couple injuries to their starters, they have to pick-up back-ups and fill-ins. This leaves many teams with no choice but to drop their 2nd and 3rd round rookie picks. It kind of defeats the purpose and isn't really a "dynasty" league if guys like Charlie Frye, Andrew Walter, Jason Campbell, etc. are dropped before ethey ever see a minute of playing time because of injuries in other areas.
I'm not saying that you won't ever be forced to drop a rookie pick due to injuries, but when guys like this get dropped, nobody even makes an attempt to grab them. These guys are supposed to be future starters (maybe studs) in the league and nobody picks them up because they have no room to stash them for a couple of years. That makes it seem more like a giant keeper league than a dynasty league.
As for the free-agents, I don't care either way, I was just wondering what the rule was because there are a couple of guys that I want. If the rule is wait til after the draft then I'll just have to wait!
