Well, it's not quite the offseason yet, but here are some things up for discussion.


Evolution. He hasn't been around since September, in our league or at the cafe. I hope everything's ok. We should make a decision on whether to wait a bit, or vote him out. Perhaps we could give SPC back his team?

A trade deadline. Not that this is a huge deal, but I think we should implement some sort of trade deadline next year. I was thinking around week 12-13. I just want to prevent any sort of unfair stacking of one team during the playoffs. We would open the trades back up after the league championship (week 16).

Roster expansion? I feel that a 20 man roster is still a little bit tight. The standard at the cafe for dynasty leagues seems to be a 22-24 man roster. There are a number of quality young players still on the waiver wire and this would open things up. Part of the fun of a dynasty league is developing players, and this system is a little constrictive. As you can see in my roster, I was forced to completely drop my kickers and defense (both solid players) to make room for prospects. I feel a 2-3 player roster expansion would be great.

Roster cuts. Originally I had planned for there to be a roster cut before the rookie draft and then before the season (if neccessary for some). I'm thinking we could just make one set of cuts in August. We'll be able to see how things play out in the offseason, and who we really should to cut. The downside to this is, that less players will be available in our Rookie/FA draft.


All these things are open to discussion.
