marino passes tarkenton (answered)

This is a toughie. On November 12, 1995, Miami quarterback Dan Marino passed Fran Tarkenton to become the NFL's all-time passing yards leader. Who caught the pass that Marino threw to move past Tarkenton?

I'll assume you mean Nov. 11th. The only game on the 12th 1990 was a Monday night game between Wash and Philly.

My apologies for the typo. The date should read November 12, 1995.

Oh my bad, I was looking at completions, not yardage. I think the answer is:

Irving Fryar

Accepted as answer by Dr. Duran Duran on Sun Feb 20, 2005 9:07 pm EST.

Looks like MeShawn got it just a moment faster. Nice job. Marino got the record on a 9-yard toss to Irving Fryar in the Dolphins' 34-17 loss to New England.
