That was easily one of the worst rankings spreads I've ever seen. Honestly, who do they hire to write this crap? Warrick Dunn in the 1st tier of running backs? McGahee #2 overall? Domanick #3 overall?

I do think McGahee is a top 5 guy.

How is it possible that Thomas Jones is ahead of Clinton Portis and Shaun Alexander?

How is Rudi Johnson second tier, and Warrick Dunn first?

Brian Westbrook is not #4, McGahee not #2.

The most obvious thing to me was that this guy really doesn't understand what a tier should be. I mean he's got 22 players in his first tier? That's just ridiculous. If you look at the article above it says his first tier consists of guys that will give you points every week. The second tier is guys who can be used based on matchups etc.

He's also basing it mostly on dynasty league type rankings. The first guy being who he would keep if he could keep only one. And it goes down the list. He's not looking at next year's potential but potential throughout the years.

Once you look at it that way it's not as bad. But still it's a bit too much emphasis on youth.

i agree with you ravage, the top tier was almost every starting rb. That's just crazy top tier should be like top 3-5. those are some funny rankings

Honestly JJ before Portis/deuce and Westy before all of them. Oh yeah, and with all the emphasis on youth Kevin JOnes as low as that and the biggest reach!!? He even admits that he is biased when talking about Rudi and how he doesn't want to admit that he's been wrong all along.

I use that site's message board sometimes to ask trade questions about leagues (especially cafe sensitive ones) but I don't really participate. I'll be sure to trash their rankings on the board.
