With Mason getting dumped I think this will skyrocker Bennett's draft status next year most definitely. Though it's a little scary to also see Miller and Holcombe leaving.

Calico's value also goes up, as well, since he'll most likely be on the field every 2-WR formation. Once McNair is gone, the Titans will look like a very strange team. No McNair, no Eddie, no Mason. Weird, eh?

Bennett's draft status would go up, but I wonder if he would actually do well. Having Mason (a really good WR) on the other side helped him to get the weaker defensive matchups. Plus, his good games were against mainly poor teams. I'd be scared for those who want to take Bennett in the 5th-6th round.

Apparently they think the world of Calico or else they are going to try to draft a good WR...or maybe they just needed to free up the cash. If they don't draft a WR, then Calico might be a steal (although risky). If they draft a WR, I would immediately think of him as a good sleeper.

wow, this is a shocker to me.... derrick mason could have a big fantasy impact wherever he lands assuming he does get cut.

Ah, just saw the link. Looks like speculation to me. I just can't see them cutting Mason.

Wow, it's going to be strange seeing Mason in anything but a Titans uniform. I really don't see this helping Drew Bennett much. Defenses can now use their #1 corner to cover Bennett since there will be little proven talent across from him. I guess I'm thinking of Bennett as a Peerless Price type reciever. A good #2, and a below average #1. Bennett just doesn't come across to me as top material, and without Mason to take the pressure off of him, I can't imagine him repeating his numbers from last season.
