Wow, that is really sad. He couldn't have been that old. :,-(

That guy was an awesome punter. I can always remember him just standing there, balancing on one leg, and booming the ball 65 yards every time. Most kickers jump up in the air while they kick the ball, but Reggie didn't.

Wow, I remember seeing Reggie when he was back in school at Iowa..That guy was amazing. That is too bad. I have no idea if he was sick or what happened yet..but he was a great punter.

Here is the article too:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sports Network) - Former All-Pro punter Reggie Roby died Tuesday at the age of 43.
The Miami Dolphins, whom Roby spent 10 of his 16 NFL seasons, confirmed his passing on their Web site, but the cause of death is unknown.

Roby was reportedly found unconscious and without a pulse this morning by his wife in the couple's Nashville home. He was immediately taken to the Saint Thomas Emergency Department where he was pronounced dead at 8:35 a.m. EST.

sad to hear. I've heard nothing but good things about Mr. Roby. One of my friends actually participated in his Backfield in Motion in Nashville and said they did a lot of great work for those kids. He'll be sorely missed I'm sure.

This is sad news for sure. I can remember when he came into the league and how I was amazed every time he punted the ball. His passing comes much too early and I'm sure all our thoughts go out to his family..

My God, he had six children. My most sincere condolences go out to his family. From what everyone is writing about him, the man was apparently a very decent person with a big heart. Very sad to see him go.
