Wow, I guess all that talk about him wanting to stay in Oakland was legit. Good to see him staying in the Silver and Black. He and Ronald Curry should be a very nice one-two punch for years to come.

Well, that was a teaser. Porter started to do very well in Oakland with Collins last season. Hopefully that trend keeps moving forward.

Wow, this was definately a shock to me. I figured he was as good as gone. Well hopefully he will continue off his second-half sucess from last year and be a fantasy factor

Actually, I think Collins did pretty well last season considering they had no semblance of a running game. It took a little time, but as soon as Collins became a little comfortable, the passing game really started rolling and should pick up in 2005, especially if they can land a decent RB to take some pressure off. Maybe that's just wishful thinking, but Curry starting really coming on before he got hurt and we all know Porter is very talented, so I'm convinced they're more than a "flash of brilliance" as you put it.

This is bad for the Jets, less big name free agents available, still rather have Plax though.
