This is the type of news to put smiles on the faces of Plaxico Burress, Muhsin Muhammed, Derrick Mason, and Lavernues Coles as the WR spot just got a little bit shallower in FA.

one less guy for baltimore.

I think baltimore needs a real QB before they go Wide Receiver huntin'.

they need both. but id put money on the ravens landing one of the top FA recievers.

You tellin me a guy like Moss who doesn't need an accurate QB wouldn't help Boller out big time? Just sayin...

I'm sayin' that a guy like boller will drag down Moss to his level. A receiver can only be as good as his QB because he is dependant on him getting him the ball. A good QB on the other hand is more likely to make an average wide receiver better.

I think you have this reversed. Do you think Plaxico and H. Ward made Big Ben better this season or the other way around?

im not a boller fan by any means....but he hasnt really had talent like a moss, porter, mushin, mason or coles. heap is his best reciever and he seems to find him just fine. most top qbs benefit from good receivers.

Actually, Plaxico had been struggling until big ben came along.
The Qb is the one with the ball most of the time. They both depend on each other. But it would be very frustrating if Moss keeps getting open and Boller can't get him the ball. That is what happened with T.O. and Jeff Garcia. Peerless price was also better with bledsoe. There are also receivers who have benefited from a good QB like stokeley and pinkston.

Exactamundo! Let the contracts fall where they may now. That's a hefty sum paid to someone based on potential rather than on field performance.
