Ray--Very interesting life story of Ray Charles. Nice job of acting by Jamie Foxx, Oscar-worthy to say the least. 9/10 rating.
Sideways--Subtle comedy about life. Nice movie, don't expect a side splitting comedy though. Reminds me alot of "American Splendor" from last year with Giamatti. He definitely got screwed with no Oscar nomination. 9/10 rating.
I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass, lollipops in my mouth. That's just me.
I watched Saw last night. Definitely an interesting movie, but the acting really brought the entire thing down, IMO.
The only movie I've really liked Cary Elwes in was The Princess Bride - and that was, what... 18 years ago? He was horrible in this movie, although he was better than...
Leigh Whannel, the writer AND co-star of Saw. Yeah, this guy is pretty bad too... his writing was pretty average, but it had to be ten times better than his acting.
The only thing that saved this movie for me was the ending, which I've got to admit was pretty cool. I knew there was some sort of crazy ending, and as I was watching it I tried piecing things together that might surprise me... but I wasn't expecting that.
Anyway, Saw is worth a rental... not much more than that, methinks.

You're telling me you didn't like him in Robin Hood: Men In Tights? That's arguably better than the Princess Bride, which is priceless.

I forgot about that one!
So it's been about 12 years since Elwes has made a good movie.
I think he's only decent in roles that aren't... serious, I guess is what I'm lookin' for.

I thought he was pretty good in Glory, too. Just about everything about that movie was damn good.
