I watch this movie roughly twice a year. Find something new every time! This time I found that the three characters all seem to use the same black horse. Beautiful horse too.
The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
I must have seen this movie about 27 times now. Each time it's worth it.. the 2+ hour buildup.. all worth it.. for the final graveyard scene. The last half an hour is cinematic perfection. Definitely the best set of scenes in movie history. I could go on for pages about how great GB&U is, but I won't. I'll simply quote Maxim magazine in saying, if you haven't seen this movie.. you haven't yet begun your manhood.
I own three copies of that movie.. but rented Memento
a while ago too. Memento was a great flick, I loved the character of Teddy. And Sergio Leone (GB&U's director) mimicked Yojimbo (a Kurosawa movie) when he started the dollars trilogy with A Fistful of Dollars, so I checked it out. It was okay, but The Seven Samurai was much better.
Note: Deluxe, did you know that the word "Gremlin" came from my last name? Hint, it's my username backwords, but I don't like to say it out loud on the internet. British dudes made up Gremlin from a combination of "Grimm's" Fairy Tales, and ****lin's beer, which my ancestors made. If you don't believe me, look it up!
