Saw Borat tonight, I thought it was pretty funny, and I don't know how it could offend people ;-7
I would put it at one of the better comedies, not one of the best, but I think you would have to see it a second time to really get some good laughs.

I saw Borat as well...

It easily gets a 9/10... completely hilarious with so many little nuances and outrageous moments. A must buy when it comes out on DVD ;-D

I saw Deja Vu this evening and really really enjoyed it! It has some solid acting and the store kept me in suspense and thinking a lot. It had some good twists and I really enjoyed the ending. Very good movie, IMO. ;-D

I finally went to a movie in a theater and I can contribute to this thread! :-D

Took the wife to see Casino Royale Saturday night. Not bad. Definitely not your typical Bond film. Lots of soul-searching and stuff. The poker game part of the show was a bit too long, and towards the end I got a smidge lost with all of the plot twists (they weren’t very well explained). Maybe I’m getting old but I thought Eva Green as the Bond Girl was just an OK choice. She’s got too much of a baby face IMO.

The new Bond is all right. DEFINITELY not as suave and sophisticated of a Bond as Connery or Moore. The character as played by Daniel Craig appears to be headed in a much “darker” direction. Not bad, though. They spent a large part of the movie trying to prove that a man on foot can run fast enough to catch up to a speeding car - especially if he grimaces enough when he's running. :-b

I think the most bizarre thing in the movie was when Bond arrived at one of his locales and was driving a FORD. What a weird sight that was.

I’d give it (^) (^) (^) .5 out of 5. Definitely worth seeing, but you could wait until it hits DVD first.

yeah ford paid a pretty big price to get that car into the movie not to mention the fact the car is pretty forgetable next to the two astons.

i thought he made a pretty solid bond ,even though he wasn't as suave as connery he delivered the one liners as good as connery did i thought and he is much closer to the way bond was portrayed in the books.

i agree with the plot twists though. that movie really went a lot of directions in the final half hour although the very end was pretty cool.

i'd give it a 4 out of 5 but then i'm a fan of daniel craig.

Sometimes when you see an older movie, you can't get over how dated it looks. This has happened to me with other movies that people rave about.

I grew up watching "Manhunter", so I still love it.
