i found myself fairly annoyed through the whole film and the plot wasn't very cohesive. It got pretty predictable and the end was a little lame. The only redeeming quality is that it twists you for awhile and the acting is decent. I wouldn't waste 2 hours on it... oh wait... I already did.

I MIGHT actually be going to this today, I have nothing to do and have 2 friends that want me to come with... we'll see though
I had a chance to catch a sneak preview of this movie, but had other plans. The cars look awesome if nothing else.
Grindhouse 9.5/10 Over 3 hours of awesomeness. Planet Terror is zombie campy-ness at it's finest- cheesy lines, over the top deaths/gore and explosions, and just flat out cool. Death Proof is "slower paced" so to say and there's more dialogue than action, but the ending is damn near priceless and Kurt Russell if the MAN... the fake trailers are hilarious too- very good stuff. The .5 detraction is solely from the fact that some scenes were deleted( or cut short) to maintain it's R rating IMO... hopefully they will be on the unrated directors cut DVD- I very much look forward to it

f you are referring to the times when it says scene missing or when is jumps to supposedly later in the film those were intentional omissions to give the feeling like you are watching an old ass real to real that screws up and an old print of the movie that has things missing that were originally there. this was one reason they scratched the print themselves to give that feeling of old grittiness. there were no scenes omitted from the film to get the r rating. the trailer with the girl bouncing on the trampoline was the only thing that was slightly modified because of the mpaa and very little of that really.
Well, I just got back from seeing Grindhouse and it was truly one of the best films I've seen in recent memory. Easily a 10/10 for both segments. I won't elaborate too much on either, but the last half of Deathproof was the most intense car chase I've seen.
This book's based on my favorite novel of all time "Point of Impact"
For those that have read the book, you'll know they changed alot of things for the movie, but in general they stuck to the storyline. My one complaint is that there wasn't enough sniping. Bob the Nailer is supposed to be the baddest sniper to ever walk the earth, and he does very little of that in the movie. He does more with pistols and explosives than with a sniper rifle.
true logan, I've heard and read about the missing reels being there solely to give you that feeling of an old worn out flick, but I still think there was some "actual" missing footage- I don't know- we'll see on the DVD. I just find it hard to believe that the lapdance scene wasn't filmed.
Finally got to watch Saw 3. I had heard mixed reactions about this movie, but I actually really liked it. I still think Saw 1 was the best, but in my opinion, two and three were very close. I'd give it an 8/10.
