So you're saying that in 50 years we will all be eating pickled pigs feet?
I just saw 3:10 to Yuma this past weekend and loved it. It's probably the best movie I've seen this year and really hope it gets nominated for Best Picture. Russel Crowe and Christian Bale were both awesome and I wouldn't be suprised if both of them got nominated as well.

Man, you are a harsh grader. Best movie you've seen gets an A-?

Best movie this year, not ever. Buy, you're right. I don't give out "A's" very often. There were a couple little things that kept me from giving it an "A", plus I've thought the movies this year to be rather mediocre. For me, an "A-" is REALLY good.
I actually go to see just about anything, so it's not like I'm snobby. I also saw Shoot Em Up this weekend and really enjoyed it. It was quite funny! For what it was, I'd give it a "B-".
I'm hoping Across the Universe ends up being as good as I hope.

have you seen the origianl 3:10 to yuma? just wondering how it compares. i know the other one is like 40+ years old, but, curious about story line and homage type shots and whatnot.

I saw a little bit of the original Friday night, but not the whole thing. My Dad saw it though, and said it was more of a cut and dry action/cowboy movie. In the remake, the relationship between Christian Bale and Russel Crowe was what made the movie... the way Bale rubbed off on him. That dynamic didn't really exist in the original. You just really need to see it to understand.
