Halloween 7/10 Decent, if not spectacular remake... The usual cast of Rob Zombie characters can be seen throughout the film, the same gritty dialogue is used(which actually seemed out of place in some scenes), lots of T and A, and a high body count round things out. Not much else to say, I really liked the final scene and how the movie ended.
Bad News Bears 7/10 like above, solid remake(you all know the story) and that's about it. Billy Bob is his usual self- think his bad santa personality(old, bitter, sarcastic, drunk, and FUNNY). Another note, the kids have pretty foul mouths in this movie and as such it earns a solid PG-13 rating, so this may not be the optimal family flick.
The Big Lebowski- 8/10 Caught this on showtime or something. Crazy flick with lots of quirky characters and Coen Bros. humor. Great cast and John Goodman is hilarous by the way. Good stuff I must say... the Dude abides
Halloween- 7/10. Not as suspenseful as I hoped, few parts were pretty good. Although the whole time I was wondering how all these little kids got into the theater, and in parallel thought, why was there so much film time on naked bloody female corpses.
"7"- Did watch it all, on and on, but from what I saw it was decent so for what I say 7/10

I'm gonna preface by saying I was raised on westerns, my dad had me watch every western in the friggin' world growing up... ok not all of them... but it seemed like it... i really really enjoyed this movie. very true to how westerns should be. It's the kind of movie that makes me wish that they made more westerns. I really think it's a must see. I'm a fan of newer looking and filmed westerns so this tops the original in my book, which I supposedly saw according to my dad but i vaguely remember it. Newer westerns like this and Unforgiven and the Jack Bull, etc... seem to be less cheesy than some of the classics that I love.

Knocked Up-8.5/10 *I'm reviewing the unrated 2 disc special edition Dvd*
Judd Apatow's follow up is very funny indeed; i.e. lots of raunchy jokes with a heartfelt message mixed in there somewhere. Of note, all the stoner roomates were hilarious(the beard thing is genius) as well as many other small bit characters such as the strung out chinese doctor and the jealous co-worker of Katherine Heigl... Also, the extra footage on the dvd(s) is awesome with loads of cool features(many which include improvised scenes that had me cracking up a lot). All in all maybe not quite as good as the 40 year old virgin, but still a great comedy to add to your collection
I watched Casino Royale again the other day, sick movie. I love it when he disarms that guy with the nail gun, and just snips in the head with it! That's bad ass!
I saw "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" last night. Two things stuck out.
1. Jessica Biel has a very nice ass and some nice boobies. 2. Adam Sandler needs to go back to his Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison days. He's just not trying anymore.
Overall, I'd give the movie a 5/10 and that's because I generally like Sandler movies. If you don't, its probably more like a 3/10.
