Great movie other than the poker scenes. Great line by Bond when he explains that he called because he knew the other guy was bluffing. Only catch is, Bond had a straight anyway.
First up was The Darwin Awards. Fun movie that wasn't as funny as a movie about the Darwin Awards probably should've been. Nonetheless, I was entertained. 6/10.
Next up was A Beautiful Mind. I thought this was just some movie about a smart-guy a la Good Will Hunting, but it was much more. I enjoyed it immensely, along with many of the twists and it was very well edited. 8/10.
Last was Lucky Number Slevin. Holy underrated movie batman, this film is great. With all the big names in this movie I figured it must have just had a terrible plot given there was so little talk about the film. To the contrary, the plot was fantastic, and the acting of course was superb. 9/10.

I agree. I expected nothing and it ended up being really good.

Completely agree, I was genuinely surprised at that movie.
Just finished watching Planet Terror, the second part of Grindhouse. Holy crap, what a great movie. The special effects, the action, the comedy, it all was just amazing. I highly recommend it, 9.7/10
Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion
I left one out of my last post. Finally saw Shaun of the Dead. I was pretty excited to see it as everyone had told me it was pretty good and it seemed like my type of movie, but I came away very disappointed. I dunno, maybe expectations were just too high. 6.5/10.

i didn't enjoy the movie. i was entertained, but i didn't like the movie. i thought the ending was bad. and the alternate ending(s) were not good either. i saw it about a year ago, so i don't really recall all the details. just remember thinking it wasn't great. and my friend loved it. raved about it for weeks. i might have to watch it again. but josh hartnett ruins just about everything for me. kinda like nic cage. there are some people i just can't watch.

I saw the Kingdom the otherday and I was quite impressed! Kinda boring for a little bit, but not too bad! The last I dunno how long, is amazing! Action packed, son. 9/10-Because I don't ask for a lot from movies.

I'm sure everyone is going to be asking you this, but how could you not like that movie?

Thats what funny, it wasn't the second part, it was the first movie. Planet Terror was shown first and Death Proof was 2nd. I dunno why they released Death Proof first. It pisses me off that they didn't release them together, I would have thought they were above that...guess not. Gotta make money off the masses I guess.
I bet there's a double disc box set that comes out in a few months with both movies....
