QFT ... I can't even express how many times I have said these same things... I've found some worse movies than castaway... but it's down the list... I honestly think Denzel has done some Oscar worthy work... but that was a token award for having being snubbed a few times in the past...

Location: I'm drinking 'til I forget the 1999 NFC Championship game.
I caught Blood Diamond on HBO last night. I give it a B+. Great story, gritty action, fine acting, etc. Only negatives I can think of are that some parts of the movie felt forced (like the Leo-Jennifer romance), and it dragged on a little bit too long. Definitely worth checking out.
elaborate? I rented it today, but have not watched yet...
I dunno, it just didn't pump my nads. Some OK action I guess but the character development was VERY hurried and the story was just kinda bleh. I realize it's based off a video game so you kinda have to let some stuff go, but the idea that there's this uber secret hitman squad that no one knows about and are described as ghosts yet they all walk around in suits and shaved heads with barcode tats on the back of their heads is hard to swallow. It wasn't all that bad just nothing really made it all that special...The chick in it is hot though.
