What movies did you see today?

Ya I saw Quantum of Solace yesterday, it was good. Casino Royale was considerably better, mainly because the story was much better/more developed. 7.5/10. Atleast the red head was hot...or well, at first...

I saw Quantum Of Solace on Friday. A lot of good action, although I thought it didn't quite measure up to Casino Royale overall. Still very entertaining and Daniel Craig superb once again, I'll give it an 8/10.

I saw it as well and I couldn't agree more with the assessment. That was actually close to word for word what I would have said. Daniel Craig > Pierce Brosnan

Yeah, she's not nearly as hot when she turns into a brunette later in the film.

Pretty much my assessment as well. It was really entertaining. I thought the opening half hour was the best part of the movie, some crazy action/suspense.

Snow Angels - Kate Beckinsale plays a small town single mom in a place with lots of snow (and still manages to look hot) and Sam Rockwell plays her recovering alcoholic ex who tried to kill himself and just wants to see his daughter. there's also a parallel story about some teen Kate used to babysit for. anyway, pretty good acting, good dramatic story...hard to explain too much more without giving plot away, but it's a similar tone to Ang Lee's The Ice Storm. Also, Tommy Kelly from Johnny Dangerously is in it...oh, and so is Jerry Blank from Strangers With Candy and Juno's friend from Juno P.S. I am a loser and know the real names but it's easier this way

Forgetting Sarah Marshall i wish i'd forgotten to add this to my queue, and not just because the unrated edition contains a bunch of man-crank. it was an OK movie i guess, but not so much funny. at least i got to see a photoshop of Mila Kunis' bewbz...now if only Kristen Bell would have flashed her goodies i could have given it a better grade

Chopper is a 2000 Australian film, written and directed by Andrew Dominik and based on the semi-autobiographical books by Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read. The film stars Eric Bana as the eponymous "Chopper" Read

translation...Eric Bana plays quite possibly the biggest freakin whack-job i've ever seen on film...and not in an over-the-top-TCM sort of way, but in a really convincing wow-that-guy-is-whack way

Note: this movie is in Aussie and was quite hard to follow at times, sub-titles would have helped

My friends were saying Quantum of Solace was just action scene after action scene, but you guys enjoyed it...I guess I'll check it out then.

Going to Twilight this week. I see by the previews they added a fight scene that wasn't in the book. That's fine I guess.

Quantum of Solace. Pretty much what everyone else said: good, but not great, and definitely not as good as Casino Royale. Not so great from a plot standpoint, but some great action scenes, and Craig is once again a perfect fit for the Bond character.

7.5/10
