good news I just remembered... in the credits of The Unborn ... it does say that "no torah scrolls were damaged in the making of this film" ... so it's got that going for it. :D

K...

So we saw Grand Torino last night. OK, but not as good as I thought it would be. No spoilers! :-) 6/10.

Bangkok Dangerous 6/10

Nothing too memorable here and it wasn't as frenetic and action packed as I thought it might be. I just don't see Nic Cage being a super assassin. Meh, decent movie at best.

I aw Grand Torino and Step Brothers this weekend. Neither was as good as advertised. Gran Tourino was actually the funniest movie i've seen this year. STep Brothers was just bad. I'd give a more detailed critique, but I'm a little drunk, and there's still much celebrating to do tonight.

Just got back from seeing My Bloody Valentine in 3D. I'm into horror movies, and this was a pretty typical one. A lot of action, not as horrible a plot as most have, and the violence, sex, and gore that are in all good horror movies. 8/10

Saw "Slumdog Millionaire" today. I thought is was really good. It's about an Indian kid who goes on India's version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." But it's really about growing up poor in India, brotherhood, and love.
It's definitely a feel good movie and worth seeing until Taken comes out on the 30th.

Watched Defiance last night. Really good and suspenseful. Well worth going to the theater or at the very least renting when it comes out.

Zach and Miri Make a Porno 8/10

pretty funny. You've got Apatow regulars mixed with Kevin Smith and bam you get this. Lots of raunchy humor and zany characters with just the right amount of heart mixed in.
