Never underestimate how many 7 year olds there are, as well as the influence they can have in decision making.

Doomsday 6.5/10

kinda like mad max on steroids mixed with a cannaballistic zombie(ok they're infected) type movie, those happen all the time right? It was decent: Rhona Mitra is very hot, there were some cool action scenes and the vilence was over the top.

Jumper 7/10

Pretty cool concept held in check by some weak dialogue and basically an unresolved conflict between the good and bad guys- this movie practically begs for a sequel. Not too shabby though. As an aside I feel like the movie Push will be very similar to Jumper- swap out the power to teleport with the power to "push" things and Bam different movie. It'll be interesting to see how well Push does at the box office.

Just got back from Gran Torino. Eastwood does a great job even though his raspy tough-guy voice is overdone just a little bit. He does a great job coming across as an ornery senior citizen and a complete ass while still being awesome and cool at the same time. One of the best films I've seen in a long time. 9/10
