Am I in the minority here?
EDIT: I'm not homophobic. I think lesbians are awesome. I just don't want to see guys kiss.
You're not homophobic in any way Joe. Don't worry about it. You have a preference that doesn't include men kissing men. I think it's gross (as I do women kissing other women). It's not a homophobic thing. Homophobia is defined as a prejudice and you don't have a prejudice. Neither do I as I also have a friend and an aquaintance who are both aware of my beliefs and still remain friends. I honestly don't know exactly why I think it's gross per say, but I'll shine some light on that. It may be because I'm a Christian, but for me, personally, I'm the visual type, the type that puts himself in situations and putting myself in a situation where I might be kissing a dude is not one that I'm comfortable with. Why? Well, aside from the faith standpoint, it's preference. Just like I wouldn't enjoy a kiss from a woman other than my wife. It would repulse me. Anyway, I think you're fine Joe. There's nothing wrong with you. Keep your friends close, understand your differences, and don't assume that something is wrong with you because MTV says so.
Actually no not really, prejudice can be a factor in homophobia but it's not the only trait...

A person can be homophobic and not be prejudice toward homosexuals. Many people are homophobic, finding homosexuality "gross" or "repulsive" is homophobia.
And for the record I never bashed joe or said there was anything wrong with him for being a little homophobic, again a lot of people are, and I think it's natural for heterosexuals(especially heterosexual males) to be homophobic. No need take offense.
