Saw a couple new movies today, one in theaters and one back in my dorm.
The Men Who Stare At Goats
So. Freaking. Bizarre. The cast was great, and it was funny throughout, but there's little understandable plot to speak of, and... I dunno. It's just so freaking weird. Some of it is cheesy, some of it is creative. If you're wondering whether to see it in theaters, I'd say it's okay to wait for DVD. I came out of that movie thinking "what the hell did I just watch?" And there isn't a ton of action. It's just... weird. I know I'm saying that a lot, but that's what it is.

Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion

Yeah - I teared up when he started walking around his house alone, after his wife died.

Yeah, I agree - looks like it will be a good one with that trio at the helm
I saw the '95 Rugby World Cup on TV and it probably goes down as one of the greatest feel-good sporting events ever. Should be interesting how it's portrayed here amongst the backdrop of post-apartheid South Africa.
Funny movie related story. My buddy's sister convinced him to hold her spot on the Twilight lineup because she was at work. Kind of embarrassing but not the end of the world...until the local news shows up. Thankfully he had a blanket so he was able to hide, but they interviewed the girls next to him so he spent a couple minutes under the blanket.
