Its a bit slow in the middle, but a well thought out plot and characters. Daniel Day Lewis steals the show with an incredible acting performance as a villain you can't help but like even though he's simply horrible.
totally agree....he did an awesome job in that movie
I thought it was a pretty average movie. It had its moments (basically any scene with The Rock and Cedric's gang were great), but a lot of stuff just felt like filler... I've never really been a fan of Travolta, but he was bearable. Uma did well... Keitel did well... Vince Vaughn was pretty funny. Christina Milian ought to be the future Mrs. 'Cuna.
So basically... everyone did well (aside from the performance of one person in particular, but it's kind of a surprise, so I won't say who)... it's just the story seems to drag in places. About as average as a movie can get, methinks.
'CUNA-MANIA IS RUNNING WILD! "You will be a king here, instead of a peasant at the Cafe."
Too bad, I saw the previews and it looked good, plus I liked Get Shorty with Travolta's character quite a bit. The review I read this AM didn't like Be Cool either so guess I'll pass on this one...
I saw Friday Night Lights tonight. I think I remember this movie being on here already though. Was pretty good. Hard to beat a football movie but it was alright.. Kinda dragged at times, but liked it. Billy Bob didn't do much for me, but liked the plot.
Ending actually surprised me somewhat. Some other things in it didn't..

Saw Constantine. Wasn't too impressed by it. I felt they could have done a lot more with it. The backstory wasn't very impressive and the characters were rather bland. Special effects were pretty nice though, better than expected. I'd give it a rental, but little more.
