Finished watching Deadwood Season 1 on DVD recently. Absolutely fantastic dramatic western HBO show. 10/10
Also, recently watched The Battle of Shaker Heights, the film from the second season of Project Greenlight. Not terrible for rookie film-makers... 6.5/10

I saw Kicking and Screaming last Thursday night. It was pretty damn funny. Will Ferrel is a solid comedic actor. Mike Ditka as the assistant coach was hilarious.
My favorite part was when Ferrel ran out onto the field and decked the 10 year old kid.
Over the past three days I've seen three movies, and none of them dissapointed. National Treasure did not appeal to me much in the commercials, it looked like it would be a big mess. I was happily surprised after watching it, a finely done Indiana Jones-esque flick. Another movie that surprised me was Harold and Kumar, if you take it for what it is worth as a comedy then it provides a very entertaining experience better than the similiar Dude Where's My Car. And lastly I watched Sin City, which I have aniticipated for a very long time. With all its hype I was expecting a lot and the movie delivered.
I watched Flight Plan a few weeks ago. Wish I could get my money back on that one... not that it was terrible - just a below average show that takes a 'lil too long to finish. Those seats were getting uncomfortable at the end.
...and then I saw Hitchhiker's Guide last week. I dug the book... I dug the movie.
Oh, I guess I kinda watched Scooby Doo 2 with my one year-old cousin over the weekend... from what I could tell, it wasn't the greatest movie ever that I was expecting it to be.
'CUNA-MANIA IS RUNNING WILD! "You will be a king here, instead of a peasant at the Cafe."

i saw the movie before i read the book and was really disappointed to find out there was no love story between trillian and arthur and they didnt go visit the first planet with john malkovich nor did trillian get captured... and there were some other little things, like the fact that marvins eyes were red. i mean if it specifically says his eyes are red why make them green?
even so, i really liked the movie, it really helped to visualize some of the scenes in the book and used some dialogue straight from the book. i also liked how they used puppets, i think CGI would take away from the story a little, make the aliens a little less real.
id give it 7/10 because of the some of the book inaccuracies, 8/10 if i hadnt
