I saw Grandma's Boy with my dad, and I agree, it wasn't anything spectacular. Only a few moments when I actually laguhed, and otherwise, t was over-the-top silly, and not even very funny. The word "weed" gets old after awhile !+)

5/10

I saw "The Chronicles of Narnia" today. They took the whole Junior class to see it, if I would have been high the movie would have been a front to God. Talking beavers and other animals, centaurs, half-human half goat dealies, everything a stoner like me needs. But otherwise the four children could not act what so-ever which really brought the movie down. But th lion Aslanor Aslam, however you spell it, kicked some ass, I only wish they showed him bite off the witches head. I give it a 6/10

As for grandma's boy I thought it looked like it had potential to be funny but from what I've read here and other sources I guess not...
Keep it lit.

I'm on a movie watching binge lately.

The Skeleton Key

Pretty good flick. Not particularly scary IMO, but some cool twists. 7/10

Heist

Oh man...a blind guy could see these twists coming. Gene Hackman and Delroy Lindo were pretty decent in it. DeVito was over the top...that guy annoys me. 6/10

Munich

Very good movie, but a little drawn out. I think they could've chopped a little off the back end. Overall, it was excellent and I look forward to getting the DVD. 9/10

knapplc wrote:We just saw The Chronicles of Narnia the other night. It was pretty good. The CG animals weren't too bad. I kept thinking that Jadis was kind of hot, in a dominatrix sort of way. The story was good, but I remember being affected by Aslan's death much more while reading the book. It wasn't so dramatic on screen for some reason. 6.5/10

Do you think the death scene may have affected you more when you read it ( or had it read to you) because you were so young the first time? At least that's my story. I was so young that I barely remember the story, so I figure it may be the same for you.
