who am i? (answered)

Postby Dr. Duran Duran » Thu Feb 24, 2005 4:53 am

I set an NCAA Division 1 freshman record with 75 receptions in 1995. I am the only player in my alma mater's history to record a 1,000 yard season at the NFL level. My papa didn't think foosball was the devil, he was my head coach in college! Who am I and what college did I attend?

Ok, think about when the player was a freshman, 1995. He must have come out in 1998 or 1999. The foosball comment should help you identify what college he went to.

Most of the other stuff makes sense, though I don't know if his father coached him in college:

Randy Moss, Marshall?

No, not Moss. Ok, here's a hint. He was a rookie in 1999 and has a Super Bowl ring.

The one that I find that fits most of the criteria is:

Brandon Stokley

Those were the other one I was thinking about. I just realized it can't be Holt becuase he only had something like 12 catches his freshman season. I'm looking up Stokely right now, but it seems like he would fit the best.

I think stokely fits the best, becuase no one from Louisiana Layfayette was a NFL WR, so he'd be the only one to eclipse 1k yards.
