How can bledsoe sign before March 2?

Can someone please tell me how Dallas can talk to and sign Bledsoe before March 2nd? Is there some loop hole that stats that a player who is released is not a FA?

correct. since Bledsoe was released prior to the FA deadline, he is free to sign with anyone. Garcia can also sign prior to march, but he seems to be taking his sweet time.

That don't make sence. I guess if those are the rules. I assumed that anyone not on a roster at the March 2nd deadline was a FA.

On Mar 2 players can become FAs if they are no longer under contract. Until Mar 2 the team still holds rights to the player. But when Buffalo relinquished its rights by releasing him outright he became an FA.

Funny. It wasn't too long ago I was trying desperately to get Garcia in my keeper league. I guess sometimes the loudmouthed WR does make the QB. Things sure change in a hurry in fantasy football.
