I have heard these rumblings. Brown is definitely expendable and Patten lost steam as the year went on. Truthfully, I would want to get Branch, Givens and Bethel Johnson on the field as much as I could right now as they seem to have the most talent of the lot.

Patten I expected would be gone, no worries. Brown kinda made himself indepensible last year, but he's entering that time when he should consider retiring. I can't see him being more than a #3-4 guy for anyone.

Wow I thought Patten was pretty good, I guess they like Bethel though.

Patten was solely being used for the occasionaly Brady bomb. Did not do much besides that. Not worth it in my book. To pay a speed wideout that you are only thowing to 2-3 times a game.

I liked the guy no doubt. He helped me out a few times. Oh well. Incosistency counts as nothing.

Well, if nothing else, this could help make Johnson and Givens more reliable fantasy players. The less players that they have running around out there, the more chance that the two main guys will get some major yardage.

I don't expect Brady to stop throwing to 8-9 people a game, though...including linebackers. :-)
