Lelie, easily. He's going to explode onto the scene this year. Reggie Wayne is of little to no value with Marvin Harrison opposite him.

Lelie has more big play possibility. I like him more. The tough thing is Lelie is no 3 right now.

My "bold prediction" is that Lelie eclipses Rod Smith as the number one receiver towards the end of the season; and possibly has a better season overall.

honestly vixtor, i wouldn't call your prediction all that bold. I think it's almost a given. He will probably be starting by week 3-4.

I have been reading a lot about Lelie recently, and Im a fan - however, I think many of your expectations for him are overblown. He is not going to beat Rod Smith for numbers this yr. He is not going to match Porters TD output from last yr either. I think 1000 yds, 5 TDs is more realistic.

yeah, stallworth over lelie. but i think ashley's capable of more than 1000 yds and 5 tds. and while smith may still remain denver's "#1", i think lelie could be outproducing him by season's end.

Also, Lelie is more likely to take playing time away from McAffrey, not Smith. He'll start soon.

No way Lelie starts ahead of Stallworth. Watch Stallworth's hamsting, other than that Stallworth is a gem. I've read on two different web sites that they believe that Stallworth (if healthy) will become a top 12 receiver by 2004. He is on my radar and consider yourself lucky to have him.
