I would be scared if C-Mart got hurt, from what I saw last year anyone could have run for KC and I dont know how good blalock really is

still... even if it was just KC, the Jets have a competent backup. That's worth something... ;-D

good move by the jets, but to keep competitive in the afc they got a lot more work to do.

agreed, a good move for the Jets. Both were great this year, but c-mart probably won't be around much longer and Blaylock seems like a competant backup

Im not going to say I'm thrilled with this, but Ill take it. He showed last year that he is a decent back, and hopefully he can take some of the pressure off CMart. I think that the Jets will go more to the pass this year anyways.

Maybe he isn't great, but he is worthy for a backup. I just hope the Jets don't plan to have him as sucessor for C Mart- especially after continually playing down Lamont Jordan.

The dynasty league owners of Larry Johnson just got a nice vote of confidence. Johnson showed some promise and getting Blaylock out of the way sure increases his value down the road.

Yeah the Jets had to get him as a back up because Blaylock is not a feature back. He doesent have the skills to make plays on his own if you watched alot of the chiefs games after blocking broke down he usually broke down. Although he doesent have size he has a good nose for the endzone. But i credit almost all of his success last year to our O line dont get me wrong Id love to have him as a backup he can be great in short dosages just hes not a starting back and hopefully the Jets dont plan on him doing any of that.

I think it was a great idea for the Jets to pick up a quality back up to C-Mart. Martin is getting old, and could likely get injuried.
