What does this do to his draft status? I think that's about what he was expected to run, so I don't think he helped or hurt his status. Although that time is quite a bit slower than Carlos Rogers' 4.31, and Pac Man is supposedly a 4.4 guy as well.

well rolle is a different type of corner. He is a bigger guy than the other two, who rely strictly on speed. I dont think this effects him in any way, this is what was expected.

same height and only 5 pounds bigger... i haven't seen them in

rogers is the same damn size... and a ton faster...

both are 6'0" and rolle is only 5 pounds heavier than rogers. they have virtually the same body type...

pac is small though

It seems to me that Carlos is way underated and Rolle is overated. Maybe its the fact that he went to the U.

Rogers obviously has more potential because he's got speed, which you can't teach, but Rolle was the better player in college. Sometimes speed is overated. I don't think that's the case here, but sometimes it is. Technique and football smarts can more than make up for 4.49 speed.

Plus, 4.49 is not necessarily a bad time for a corner. It is not extremely quick, but there have been slower corners that have been pro bowlers.

in the Pro Days thread in the College Sports forum, you'll see that in Rolle's Pro Day workout, he ran a 4.4 ... a much better time. No worries for Rolle... ;-D

Rolle has never been known for his speed. My only worry for him is that he doesn't become another Mike Rumpf. He played much better then Mike at the U but hopefully he carries his skills over to the pro game.

He will do just fine. IMO Carlos will be a better deal in the late 1st round. Rolle will be gone in the top 10-15
