Yeah I think that's what you said right before the last game when the 'Girls got 1 sack and Eli threw 3 TDs. :-b

But we're new and improved now... (well, not exactly "new". our average age has got to be like 29... :-b )

Kareem McKenzie has game. He and Petitgout (or Pace?) will make a nice pair of bookends.

McKenzie played for the Saints last year, which makes me wonder why they traded for the guy just to let him go in free agency.

Kareem not Mike. ;-)

Good signing by the Giants, but a little pricey. They really want to protect Manning.

They are going to have to since Manning will be looking for someone to throw to for a long time in the pocket. That team has no depth at WR right now.

The contract will make McKenzie the highest paid right tackle in the NFL, according to his agent, Kevin Poston. It includes a signing bonus of $12.5 million and will pay him a total of $18 million in the first three years of the deal.

Ridiculous. Why do people overpay so much in free agency?

That is absolutely ridiculous. McKenzie is decent at best, I've seen him play almost every game of his career with the Jets. There are several right tackles who are better than him, not to mention all tackles in general. I'm glad the jets didnt pay him that ridiculous sum of money.

I don't think the Jets are getting hurt like the Packers. Ferguson and McKenzie were both decent, but nothing special, and the kind of money they wanted is ridiculous.

Jordan would have been our back up, and he is not that great of a back, so I don't consider it a big loss. I think Blaylock will be just as solid for us as a back up to Cmart.

The Packers on the other hand.......have quickly gone from an upper echelon team to one of the worst in the league.
