Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the Carolina Panthers have restructured the contract of DE Julius Peppers, reducing his $9 million cap figure for next season by about $6 million.

I guess with that and Freddi Jones retiring, the Cats can sign anyone still lingering around (Peter Boulware?)

I doubt the Panthers will sign another linebacker.

I think they will stay put for now.

It's going to be a battle between Seidman and Mangum for the starting spot at TE.
