Finding images

has anyone found a good place for player pictures?

Getty Images has great shots but they all have the logo in the center.

You have probably tried these already, but here's what I normally do to find pics...

1) Just a plain old image search on Yahoo or Google for the player in question.

2) The team's official web page through NFL.com.

3) Try a "hometown" newspaper that coverns the NFL team the player is on. Sometimes they have some team pictorials that go through the season.

With no luck using the search engines and other sources, I found myself using Getty Images for a Ferguson pic used in my current sig. If you are desperate enough to use Getty Images, there are plenty of tutorials out there that show you how to remove the logo.

thats what i use, it sometimes takes a bit of looking and the weeks always end up out of order but the pictures are big and clear and ive never not found anything here.

Go to the team websites, they usually have gallaries.

That's what I use most of the time as well. And if a team's gallary you want to use is using Java or something where you can't copy/paste or save the picture, just hit Shift+Print Scrn and paste it into Photoshop, and cut out the rest of the screen except the player you want to use in the sig.
