Anyways, anyone think Holliday is a good pickup for Miami? I definitely think Ferotte is... he won't be a starter, obviously, but he's proven he's a reliable backup. Holliday might be... but time and money will tell...

Actually, it looks like Frerotte, if signed, should be the frontrunner to start next season, with Feely close behind.

If Gus does sign with the Dolphins, look for him to make a strong push for the Dolphins to acquire Minnesota Vikings RB Michael Bennett. The Dolphins and Vikings have reportedly been in discussions to make a trade if Indianapolis Colts RB Edgerrin James comes too expensive.

Also, Holliday should have a minimal impact, but should be a starter. In my opinion, the Dolphins should have waited to see if former Dolphin Kenny Mixon got cut from the Vikings. I could only imagine the Dolphins would be one of his top choices.
