How does Carolina stack up...

Postby disgruntledjetsfan » Sun Mar 06, 2005 1:05 pm

How do the Panthers stack up against the other teams in the NFC considering the moves they have made so far (most importantly picking up Wahle) and the idea that they might actually have Steve Smith, Kris Jenkins, Steven Davis, and Deshaun Foster healthy for next year?

Personally I think Carolina is one of the best 3 teams in the NFC right now, along with the Eagles and the Falcons. Thoughts?

Carolina is the 2nd best team in the NFC. They're record doesn't reflect how many injuries they overcame. If healthy last year they take their division.

The Raiders are not in the NFC.

They're just a little bit behind the Eagles in my eyes.

Ya the Panthers are definately top 5 in the NFC. However I see them getting first wild card spot because I think the Falcons are a bit better than them.

I would rank them right behind the Eagles. Colbert should be able to fill in nicely and the defense should be stout.

I hate the fact that Muhsin Muhammad is gone, but the addition of Mike Wahle and a healthy Foster and Davis will make that running game hard to stop, and of course the defense will remain good.

They're my darkhorse to win teh NFC.
