Where will Plax end up?

Postby mutantseabass » Sun Mar 06, 2005 9:47 pm

Seeing that Burress is one of the few big name FA WRS left on the market where do you think he will end up. I have heard the rumors of Plax to NYG and dont think that Plax and Coughlin would be a good fit. Another rumor is to Minny, is one head case to replace another head case what the Vikes need? Any thing else out there floating around about Plax? KC maybe, havent heard much about this one as of late. MSU recievers have been all the talk in the free agent market this year, kinda strange.

As a Daunte owner, I would love to see him in Minnesota. I hear he is meeting with the Giants tomorrow. He is a great talent and I am suprised he hasnt been signed yet. What about the Falcons? They could use a big WR for Vick.

I would bet money I don't have that he ends up in Minnesota or New York (Football Giants).

KC seems possible. They love having only an offense, and why not add another cog.

Giants would be frighteningly improved if they signed Burress. Eli does need at least 1 target you know.

Atlanta would probably do well to sign him, but with Vick under center, you're better off using a 90-99% run playbook, so he wouldn't be worth the money.

SD is one I have not heard mentioned that seems like it would be a good place for him.

If the Vikings sign him it seems kinda dumb for them to have traded Moss (#7 overall and Harris weren't equal value for Moss).

It seemed at first like the Jets would be interested in him, but for some reason the jets are no longer interested in getting a big name wide receiver now that they landed coles. Plus, the jets no longer have the cap space really to sign him plus a back up qb, which is more important.

My prediction: The Giants. They released Ike Hilliard probably to make room for Plax, and Amani Toomer is getting old. Plax will be a perfect fit as their #1 guy. However, his value will still be fairly low fantasy wise if he goes to the giants. With the Vikings it would skyrocket.

The Giants have a press conference scheduled for tommorow. Reportedly the physical had already taken place and he's returning to NY after the Giants' second contract offer.

My guess is Giants. This would be sweet. ;-D

Minnesota's gotta spend it's money somewhere right?

Last time I checked they are missing a starting wideout. Just my uneducated guess.

With all the talk I've been reading all day I will say he ends up with the Giants.
