also just saw this on KFFL.

Don't know how he'll pan out in NYG. Probably not an all-star, but probably not a horrid FF kicker. Serviceable... as most kickers are.

Jay has a strong leg, not the most accurate kicker in the game. He would have been better off staying in Atlanta kicking indoors. Being a Michigan fan i have followed Jay and wish him luck in the big apple.

He is an upgrade for the Giants, but probably isnt worth drafting fantasywise unless they also get Plax and Eli learns how to throw the ball

i agree.. an upgrade for the giants, but he still wont be a big fantasy producer IMO

Its an upgrade at kicking, thus, good move. In the NFC East you need to be able to rely on kicking to win a game if necessary when Dallas is the third worst defense in the divison, and they're still pretty good.
