Good pickup by the BAL as they definitely needed someone since Baxter left town.

Hopefully Rolles back issues wont be a problem (even though I secretly hope they are, as does every non-Raven fan in the division :-b )

I hope he's a problem too... so RayVins will shut up for like two seconds about his teams SB run THIS year, despite the crappy QB. (that's right... you got nothin... :-b )

What a pickup. ;-D That is, if the spinal issues don't turn out to be anything. He's older, but definitely an upgrade (for now) over Gary Baxter.

And upon further review, just as sappy, too."

Suckers! That's a ton of cash to pay for an aging player with an injury history. General wisdom in the NFL is that you don't pay top dollar for older players. I think the Ravens D is tight enough that they could've settled for a cheaper alternative.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but wasn't that about the same price Cleveland paid for Baxter? Ouch...

BTW, 11 million upfront and 5 million per season is not top dollar for NFL cornerbacks. That's about the average of what teams paid for 2nd tier guys like Baxter, Lucas, etc. this season. Champ, a top corner, saw about double that last year.

Wow...I can't believe he went there. If he stays healthy and doesn't show any signs of age, he will be a solid addition.

It's amazing how tough that defense is already without him..Now they are going to be even scarier.

28 isn't too bad for "aging"...

chris mcalister and samari rolle together... scary.

I like the Ravens to win the AFC this year if they can stay healthy, especially Jamal Lewis.
