wow...

awesome move, but expected. Looks like Joey is in a huge hotseat for keeping his starting role. If he doesn't do well this year, he'll be tossed aside for sure...

It is huge for Joey in my opinion, Alxander was not reliable enough. As a Lions fan i dont expect anything.Noiw if we can get a safety and some o line help via free agency or draft i will be happy.

God, I'm going to miss him. He had some great years here in Indy, but he should finish out well with Detroit. I'll be pulling for him. ;-D

Three years at $2 Mil per year is what I've heard. Good signing, methinks. Pollard should give the Lions the threat of a solid TE who is still able to run a nice downfield route. And they didn't morgage the future for him.

This is a great signing for the Lions in my opinion. Now they can get Davis in the draft instead of using it for a TE.

Great move. I have always been a Marcus Pollard fan.

I guess this also means Colts TE Ben Hartsock is a sleeper for 2005. Indy has no plans to abandon the two tight end set, so Hartsock should be ready to play.

Another passing option or should I say bailout option for Joey. No excuse for any more poor seasons for him
