Tilting a layer

This is probably a very basic question but I'm not sure how to do it. How do you take a picture and tilt it on an angle? For example if I have a team logo I want to put in a sig, but don't want it straight up, but instead on somewhat of an angle. I know how to do this with text but not pictures...can anyone help me? Thanks.

select the layer...then go edit>transform>rotate....then move the arrow to the corner of the layer and move the mouse in the direction you want.
